Today I’ll write a bit about the new patch and the new “Profiles” part of the webpage.
Let’s start with the new part of the webpage and then talk a bit about what is new in the patch.
At the adress http://wow.blogaloo.com/profiles/index.php you’ll find our own little version of the Armory. This isn’t automatically updated but it has some wonderful features that can help the guild a lot.
If you have a crafting proffession you can now updated your entire list of craftable items to be searched, compared to others and even to see what recepies/patterns you are missing.
If you are on a group quest you can see if someone else are on the same quest.
If you want to get a raid going you can see who has the proper stats to come along.
You can create a nice forum signature based on your data like the one below.
To make gathering and uploading data a piece of cake I’ve compiled a basic addon package wich includes two programs. One for keeping your addons updated (wowmatrix) and one to automate the uploading of your character data (uniuploader). The later has all settings included from start to make it as easy as possible and instructions on how to get it all to work is included in a readme.txt file.
So what is new in the patch?

One of the biggest changes is the ability for lvl 30 characters to learn how to ride for merely 35 gold. This will speed up getting to lvl 60 even more, showing just how badly blizzard wants everyone to reach lvl 70 before WoTLK.
Another major addition is that Haris Pilton now sports a wooping 22 slot bag that you can buy for measly 1200 Gold. Blizz hoping to drain some gold from the system before WoTLK perhaps?
I was pleased to see that they actually listened to the forum posts about the broken battleground system and has now changed the time you get to accept a battleground from 2 minutes to 1 minute and 20 sec.
Tailors can now make a 28 slot herb bag!!! Big upgrade for herbalists.
The help system is made a great deal easier, so get started reporting those walljumpers in Arathi Basin and request your lost items back…will this mean longer waiting lines since more people will actually understand exactly how to get in contact with customer support?
Read through the full patch notes to see if your class or tradeskill is affected by the patch.
